Footsteps123 Nursery

We are a new nursery that opened March 2017 and have been graded by Ofsted as a GOOD. We cater for children from 3 months to 5 years old. We are open from 8 am till 4.30 pm Monday to Friday all year round and our sessions look like this:

• 8-8.30 Early drop off 

• 8.30-11.30 Morning Session 

• 11.30-2.30 Afternoon Session 

• 2.30-4.30 Evening session  ( Fridays 4.00 pm finish)

Our nursery is split into 3 age groups under 2's, 2-3 year old's 3-old's 5 year old's. This is a rough guide and we will place children where we think the will develop best.

We offer the full 15/30 hour funded hours for children aged 9 months- 5 years.

​Attending a nursery setting is crucial for young children aged 9 months to 5 years as it fosters socialization and emotional development. This environment encourages children to interact with peers, helping them develop important communication skills and friendships. Additionally, nursery settings provide structured learning opportunities that stimulate cognitive growth through play and exploration. Overall, early nursery experiences lay a strong foundation for lifelong learning and adaptability

 

At Footsteps123 we ensure we are providing a welcoming environment where your child’s safety is paramount and their individual needs are always met . Children learn best through play at this age and we have fully recognised this and ensure we use the child's interests in order for them to achieve their learning outcomes. 

 

Daily access to our outdoor space is an important part of the routine across all age groups. Children are able to develop skills in all areas of learning whilst being outside.

Extracurricular activities include Tiny Tykes for our over-twos- Football classes- Gymnastics. This is a physical class helping them discover fundamental skills, as well as helping them develop their motor, social, and psychological skills through our mixture of games, activities, stories, and music.
